Aqua Royale is the new gem among Zeeuwse Creuses. This triploid oyster is grown in the Oosterschelde in the most optimal breeding areas, where it is exposed to strong currents and abundant nutrients.

This gives the oyster an impressive size, high meat weight and a rich, creamy taste. After harvesting, we store Aqua Royale in our oyster pools with fresh water from the Oosterschelde, which adds a slightly sweet nuance to the taste.

Formed in Bannow Bay. Slight iodine and mineral tastes leave a strong algal and sweet flavour. Only the heaviest, roundest, curviest oysters are cultivated. They are given lots of space–just two oysters per square meter–so they can feast on the rich springs that feed the bay.
